'Snowflake'

A sheer blessing from the a merry sky
A single snowflake lands in my palm
This miniature crystal if you will
I dare to hold it up in the air
And pray, more so wish it'll stay
Moments just as well melt away
There goes another , one, two three more land
A school of crystals I now hold in my hand
With a thought and a story
I look in their direction
Tend to follow the quiet disappearing act
Each of them will shortly engage in
Days, years, decades are as swift
And here we are coming to greet
A snowflake of two thousand and three

These visions of snowflakes I corner within my soul
And now releasing them on to you, my friend
Whether near or far
In places unknown,
Or in neighborhoods as familiar
As the tip of my thumb

Let your New Year be
A snowflake voyage, engraved in your heart
Remembered by the birds flying over

I write these lines with all the love
My heart owns,
Joyous and riveting Holiday Season
Simply a great Year to you and yours!

A Night's Grant (2003)

You know when you know,
When you trust your heart
It's a moment of indefinite clarity
It is a forever like feeling
Even though in the morning
It may become unreal and you may come to terms
With the other decreasing the realness, shortening the eternity
But you will always know it was you who knew
Yourself and the depth within you
Only the other did not welcome
The canyon deep and the beautiful bold
Matter of love in you.
With precision you cleanse, with patience you wait
Till the moment arrives once more
And then you have completed your quest
Of knowledge, of pertaining to self,
Concluded the session of awaiting,
Pearl of the sea, mind-blowing music you hear
Earth tones and pastels left the artist's brush and
Who presented them on the early evening sky, masterful.
The evening almost passed, a night is surely to come.
What will the morning bring?
You dare to ask?
Not that easy pal, find out when you will.
Good night.

See What I Know (1994)

See what I know
I'll show you how I feel
Through the lightning
And after the hurricane
I put my hand down
And simply say: "bow"
Give in for the entire honor
Refused or forbidden by you
Dominance is the key word
Throughout your life
Reserve the power to ding-dong the time
Just for this once
Veteran
Melt down the isle of sky-high mountains
See the bees in the skies
Farewell my story
If I asked you your name
Would my face be enough to answer?
Catching your breath with the voice never spoken yet,
My hopes are up
You kept it to yourself.

Parting Are Sweet Sorrows

It has become constant clarity in your company
your interest and hence its benefit are first to serve you
and your concerns conly
your claims of teachings of the great depth of love
you do not expose to love
nor do you radiate it onto others
how can you speak of love so selfishly?
I want to stay where I am and tthat is at peace
knowing there is more to be seen in life
and for you to look deeper and find
patience within yourself and others
which reflects selflessness
all of which love
requires, needs and lives on
take your journey not as a teacher
as there are no real teachers of this world
there are people and souls that influence us
and consequences of these influences
lead us to paths from which we then choose
and I hope in name of all mankind
we all choose love
the journey of a man
may never end in this life or the next
this is not a validity but a great thing to know
parting are sweet sorrows
we are at once as one
although immersed in a time
which has flown by
will not wish you well
wellness is a choice
a choice you are brave to make
here is to a split
and me remembering
where i was
when you found me
may you too recall the instant
at peace
bye

COMPLETE

To think one is complete the day they fall in love
One must repossess a feeling of loss before the equation is complete
Before there is no additional highs and lows
At this time, at the time of self loss
One is full and united with the inner most force

Note the balance in it all, it is not about win or lose
It is the balance of both, the eternal inner wheel turning
Yearning for more, seeking two or more paths instead of a sole
Mythology takes us far and beyond our current thoughts
Provokes intelligence to awake and ponder
The unique, the true, the ever hidden and the monster

One layer, two layers, thousands to cut through I may even finish
In thousand years, or perhaps two
On the mountain of Olympus the Greeks were all but one
Equally sane and admiring the nature of the beast
To respect the laws of nature, it is to respect the soul of self
To view valley streams during the day and at night,
Clearing your page each time, unveiling the force of might
Dreaming to conscience within your own right.

Once again I sit here at the top of the mountain accompanied by stillness
Is there anything larger to conquer then the world at your feet?
Is it the shoes that will clunk away at the steps, or may it even be the soles of your feet lifting away?
Sun rays across the sky signaling it is time to depart,
May you meet me here tomorrow and the day after
For I have never left nor was here tonight.

In Another Life

In another life I'd be able to hold you endlessly
In another life I'd be fond to tell you how I feel day in and day out
In this world and next I only watch from a close afar
I fear not you but I
Fear my own heart

In another life I'd be a turquoise butterfly
With black edges come to visit the flowers that seeded right by your door
Trace your steps and fly into the day ahead
Castle of thought you have created
World I never knew existed
Has unrolled like a magic carpet on its own

In another life I'd know knowing you is not enough
Being with you is but half the infinite beauty
Sharing days with you is equal to nature's calls
Remembering you is like seeing a rainbow
On a fresh morning sky so lucid

In another life I'd know and run to cherish every moment
I'd build a wall out of stone with my bear hands to protect it
Feed it with life of my heart dearest

In another life I'd live what I meditate in this one
In another life I'd reach the rivers' end and construct a waterfall there
Springing each day anew with water throws and water-like will
Knowing, not needing
Seeing, not pretending

In another life I'd be myself to myself
To death does me part and beyond.

Clearly I seek
Failing to meet
The bottom of my heart
Stubbornly I keep walking
Shoeless on the glass covered street
Politely my blood streaks
Must I possess thee?
For the love of steel
I will cry in my sleep
Not knowing I burn you endlessly
Fire in my arm and heart
Forsakenly
No, it is a chain covered in your skin
I made you sweat through it
Convincingly you shed your layers
Mistakenly you let me in
Phantom this if you will
The fox in my brain hardly ever sits still
Can't be undone
Not in this life time
The forests will serve you and I well
Perfectly underground
